In the mid-1950s, Osvaldo Farioli founded the company with the goal of introducing high-quality flexible hoses to the market.

Even in the 1950s, quality control was a priority: with mechanical dynamometers and new technologies of the era, SPB focused on research and experimentation, proposing alternative solutions.
Not only did the company evolve graphically with the SPB brand, but it also constantly developed its technology to meet market demands. With product line diversification, SPB was able to meet every customer request.

Starting from the 1960s, SPB products were covered by Product Liability Insurance with policy no. 94864/408, issued by Gan Assicurazioni.
